Other Activities:

  • Bryan Clontz and Don Behan recently completed a research
    project for the Society of Actuaries to determine CGA Mortality.  
    The study analyzed life expectancies for gift annuitants,
    mortality patterns and distinct mortality differences between
    charity sub-types (e.g., religious organizations, health care,
    etc.). October 15, 2005.

  • Charitable Solutions, LLC, recently submitted a patent
    application for our Life Income Risk Management Analytic
    Suite (LIRMAS).  We have applied for a patent on our 15 step
    business process as well as a series of formulas and
    algorithms designed to optimize asset allocations, asset-
    liability matching, reinsurance allocations and Monte
    Carlo/boot-strapping applications.  The product is designed to
    be used for pools of $10 million+ or 150 CGAs or more.
